Thread: Help with a Razor ID?

I came across a straight razor that belonged to my family two generations ago, circa 1870.
On the ricasso it reads:

"James G. Barry Co."
"Chicago, ILL."

and on the reverse side of the ricasso and on the handle it reads:

"BLUE SEAL"

The blade is 2 3/4 in.
Handle length is 5 1/8 in.
Handle material is yellow plastic with brass pins.
Anyone out there know anything about BLUE SEAL?

not a whole lot on that razor. hope this helps though.... not circa 1870
