Thanked: 13Kobar 7 Day Set
I went to the house of a collector tonight and came home with a very minty Kobar 7 Day Set. They look like they are about a 5/8 or 13/16 with a spike point. The scales are tan and brown; maybe celluloid. Can anyone tell me anything about them? I paid 200 cash; so I think I got a good deal on them.

I am not familiar with the maker but if they all look as good as the open razor then I think you got a great deal.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 23Very, very nice
Very, very nice. I've never heard of a low grade vintage Solingen razor, so I don't think you have any worries there, especially with a set of beauties like that. If they shave even half so good as they look, you'll have one fantastic set.
To quote the razor, it's definitely some high class.Last edited by Cobo; 03-12-2009 at 04:54 AM. Reason: Forgot to say something...

I picked up a NOS Kobar a while back. Easy to hone and took a great edge. I don't see very many but I'm sure you'll be very happy with these.
