Thread: just got a dovo best and idk man...please help

i just got a razor sent to me (dovo best) and it was said to be sharpened to be shave ready and i dont think it was....maybe it was because my stubles re very coarse i dont know..but i never had a problem using my w&b or boker red injun...this was just painful.

in the past i have had to stop in b/t shaving and re strop the razor, i tried it this time and it worked a little. usually when i shave i make a thick lather, not so much a thin one. maybe that was the problem? i noticed the razor was dragging a lot. it wasnt gliding...

im just waiting for my new hone to come so im gonna hone it again, but has anyone ever had this problem?
