    Default A little question

    Hello gents and ladies...

I'd like to ask if all your razors in rotation are mirror polished...

Today I noticed that none of my razors is taken to mirror finish... They all have some little black spots that managed to survive the attack of buffing wheel with polish compound, of course, away from the edge...

Do you prefer aesthetics or functionality?

Mine are, but I have RRAD, so...I would say I am not the normal straight shaver. I sharpened someone's Puma the other day and it had some bad water marks on it. Got a razor off the classifieds here and it needed a little polish.

Mine aren't all mirrored. Some have some spots, some have uniform patina, and some are more of a matte finish. I don't really care what they look like so long as they "look good" to me. i.e. I think uniform patina, light remains of pits, "grain" all "look good"

Most of mine are not mirror polished and those that are have slight marks on them. personally the minor marking is unimportant to me as long as they don't start getting out of hand.

You can really go crazy about this thing and spend all your time polishing your razors. What if you have a couple hundred?
