Thread: How to start a razor collection

Ok, so here is the situation:

I am relatively new to straight razor shaving, and would like to start a modest collection. The biggest hurdle I am facing is a lack of funds, an issue I think most people are having right now. I have about enough funds to purchase around three (give or take) modestly priced straight razors.

The question is this, what three straight razors would you recommend to start a collection? While the razors wouldn't have to be in mint condition, they would have to be good everyday shavers. And although it isn't absolutely necessary, I would like a variety of blade types.

My price range is about $200

Can any of you old pros help me out?
