So you just spent three grand for the most expensive razor in the world made by the most famous razor maker in the world and here comes the mailman with that little box in hand. Oh boy, you just can't wait to rip the box open to uncover this treasure and you open it and out plops this razor wrapped in bubble wrap and thats it.

I mean, don't you think if someone is making a custom class razor it should come in a wood storage box? What's it cost? They make these things in China and they cost a few bucks thats it. I wouldn't even mind paying a few bucks extra for it. Many guys do provide nice boxes and to those guys I say you're a class act but many don't and I say shame on you. Also the vendors who just pass the razors on like that I say shame to you also. Even with typical factory made razors you get a metal box or leather pouch.

You may or may not think presentation is important and you may just stick the box in the closet. Personally I keep my razors in wood boxes and I think its important. I also think the way the razor is presented reflects how the maker feels about his work.

So am I the only one who feels this way.
