Thread: New faux pearl dovo

Just got got my 6th new dovo. And for the first time ever it was shave ready it has actualy been honed because i can clearly see hone wear on the spine even though the hone wear only runs 3 quters of the way down the spine then just stops. Even still i have honed on my coticule just to see how it sits on my hone and as usaul one side slightly does'nt sit right on hone but doing x pattern gets the the bevel on the hone so it does'nt worry me to much. any one else noticed there dovo has come pre honed and not just factory edge?

I have had my come to me prehoned, but that was because I purchased it from a place that sends all of their razors away to be honed first and even then the hone wear is very small and usually goes full length of the spine.

Yes i reckon some at dovo as been a bit heavy handed with this one i should of sent it back realy but i have used it now and it does shave realy well considering just one side were the hone wear just runs out before the heal the other side run all the way.

I got the same razor a couple of weeks ago from Charles Nicholls, was prehoned and at a great price too! they even threw in a little leather pouch! great!

I get all my razors from trade supplier mine was 61 pounds trade i think they retail about 120 sterling are they stainles do you no?

Just looked on the website they are carbon and only 79.99 that is very good price
