Removing gold
Say you found a pretty decent vintage razor, but half the gold wash on the face of the blade is gone. What would be the best way to remove the rest of the gold from the blade without damaging the razor?

Thanked: 156Maas. Seriously, its only a micrometer thick. It'll disappear with anything. It'll disappear if you look at it funny.

reminds me of one of my favorite Seraphim-inspired posts of all time:
Technically it wasn't done by "hand". Seraphim is a bio-mechanical extraterrestrial and has actuators, not hands as we think of them.
Some say he was sent to Earth to teach us how to create the perfect razor, and that he has a pink micro-diamond encrusted hone where his tongue should be.
All we know is that he's called the Seraphim!
