Age of a griffon 60
Today (my bday btw ) i went for a drive with my wife through Rt 11 in VA. There's a lot of antique places on the road...nice drive if you are into it...
anyway...i was looking and shopping for razors and a mugs...
end up with 2 razors...
one is a joseph elliot sheffield...blade need restoration but scales are in almost perfect shape...
the other is an intriging one...
is a common griffon 60. Is a carbo-marnetic blade.
The picture i''ve seen have the words "trade mark" under carbo magnetic.
The one i have, has "Reg. U.S. Pat. Of."
The box have a sign with a warranty on the edge. send the razor with 12c postage...thats cheep...whats the weight on a razor like this? maybe will give me a better idea...
The address listed doesnt have a zip code...so is def before 1960's...
the next thing is a news paper clip...
"Panhandle Pete is in Vauderville"
Talks about Panhandle Pete and his trick mule comming to twin falls...
on the back it talks about some guy from sibberia talking about Bolshevism and how they will be overthrown in a year...
Guy name is Alexander A Trutneff from siberia, Russia...
(funny how they say russia will emerge as a rupublic patterned after the United states...)
Tit also talks about woven vote rights on the back, and some Secretary Glass...
so...any ideas?

The Griffons are great shavers! I have several and have never been disappointed, once they were honed up. The Griffon mythical beast logo is cool, too.
