    Default Razors in Korea?

    Hello everyone, new member here.

I'm looking for a place to buy a razor in South Korea. I realize that it will probably be imported from Japan, because I've asked quite a few Koreans about Korean manufacturers and I've gotten blank looks from them. Just wondering if anyone who was stationed here ever saw them on sale anywhere off base. I don't have base access because I work for LG Electronics and am a civilian. Hoping for some insight - I actually do get over to Tokyo and Osaka once in awhile, so any advice on where to go in Japan would be helpful too. I'd like to buy one this weekend, so I can start shaving with it right away! Otherwise, I'll be patient and do the deal online. Buying from the states is difficult, because sellers hate shipping overseas (for good reasons I'm sure).

    Thanks in advance guys!

Well, I can't help with Kora, but I do live in Japan. I know razors EXIST in Japan, but as to new ones? And shops to buy them? No idea...

I'm pretty sure most of the people in the classifieds section, and quite a few vendors, will ship abroad...I know that ZethLent and Old_School, both in Japan, have razors for sale right now.

    Oh, and welcome!

Theyve got them somewhere. It was in Korea in the late '70's when I was introduced to the straight razor by the girls in the barber shop @ Camp Liberty Bell. God bless them.

I was thinking about stopping by a barber shop and asking the girls where I can buy one. As an aside, the barber shop girls here offer another kind of service as well as a haircut and shave - but since I'm married, I haven't taken advantage of that "service".
