Thread: The Henkel Co

Just wondered if anyone has information on a razor with the following markings

The Henkel Co
Fremont, O. U.S.A.

Coffin says Henkel's hand forged and warranted on lid.

The razor is unused but has a bit of rust on the spine that appears to be from sitting in the paper coffin.

A small red and white tag under slip on lid has 1018 and SQ PT. hand written

I have searche dand found the Kenrup had one for sale, but no mention of what material the blade is made of.

My question is if this is a plated razor or if it is 1018 stainless. And what would be the best way to clean up the small amount of rust.
