    Default John S Holler Score

I picked this up today at a local second hand store it looks in very good condition and is heavy the blade is 9/16 and i don't see any pitting I think it will clean up real nice and it came with what looks like the original coffin 00t: Has any one used a John S Holler?

    Thumbs up

I've never used one with that name, no.

It looks like a wedge. Ever sharpened one before?

I'm sure it will be a nice, quiet shaver.

Ah, neat. Looks like a 1/4 hollow or 1/2 hollow, yeah. I'm sure different people would call it by different names.

Looks like all it needs is a bit of metal polish. Then it'll shine really nicely and be ready for use.
