Dovo Perlex Stainless ice-tempered?
Hi folks,
Are the stainless-steel Dovos with Perlex handles ice-tempered? Looking at the Straight Razor Designs web catalog, the picture of the blade shows the label, "tiefgekuhlt." I'm looking for a good stainless razor, and am hoping that this means that this model's blades are similar to those of the old Henkels Friodurs.

based on this web site that word means quick frozen or deep frozen

Yes, all of the stainless Dovo 5/8 razors are the same ice-tempered blades. They are excellent, and very smooth stainless razors, I highly recommend them!

I agree, I love these blades. I've got a couple that
might pop up in the classifieds in the next day or
so...
