    Default "Hamburg Ring"

    I just won this nice looking razor on ebay:
    A FINE GERMAN HAMBURG RING CUT THROAT / STRAIGHT RAZOR on eBay, also, Barber Shop Shaving, Vanity Perfume Grooming, Collectables (end time 22-Apr-09 19:02:06 BST)

    I have not received it yet, but any suggestions on how to remove the dirt and finger prints without damaging the picture on the blade?

    Does anyone know this razor brand? The picture on the blade says Hamburg Ring"

    Polish it up with a paste such as MAAS. The pictures are not very good quality so it's hard to say if there is anything else needed. Start with the MAAs and go from there.
