Thanked: 0Mappin & Webb Nulli Secundus Complete 7-day
Hi everyone. I have this beautiful M&W Set. I hope this is ok that i link to my Flickr page that has only the images of the razors. I figured this is probably easiest to view from.

Anyhow, I'm wondering what year estimated that this set is made. I'm hoping the late 1800's vs 1900's. Either way, this set is beautiful with minimal flaws, a lil professional polishing can probably get out nearly all of the blade discolorations i think. Also all the scales are perfect. The ivory is flawless from what i can tell, no cracks and the blades open and close with no catching. I'm trying to get information because i plan on selling this. Anyone have an ideas?
I fell in love with this set and i'm actually semi depressed to part with it, but oh well someone else can love it more i'm sure. Thanks everyone!!!

I can't give you any info, but wow that's a gorgeous set.
I'm quickly becoming obsessed with 7-day sets... Is SDSAD in the SRP DSM yet?

Hi there Russ,
Welcome to SRP! Fantastic set of blades you've got there! really nice - I'm something of a 7-day-set freak, so if you're looking to part with them drop me a message Regarding date though, I'd guess very late 1800's, but I don't know for sure...
Cheers,

That is a very nice 7 day set. Hope you get many years of pleasurable shave from them.

I'm unable to help with dating them, but also unable to stop drooling. I mean literally. My mouth is watering. That's just weird.
Great set!

Thanked: 234That is a very pretty set of razors. Do you shave with them?
I've got an old fella I met in an antique store whilst I was asking about razors digging a 7 day set out for me, I hope he finds them!

Thanked: 0I have a similar set, somewhere, I hope! At the moment I can only find one of the set and curiously enough I honed it this morning and shaved with it for the first time in many years, before reading your message.
Mine are not quite identical, since the days are numbered rather than named on the prettily etched back. On the reverse of the mark is stamped "Warranted Real German Hollow Ground".
I doubt if these are Victorian and I suspect they may well have been forged by another maker for M&W before going to Hamburg for grinding or done entirely in Germany. I'd put them in the 1910s or 1920s. They are certainly beautifully presented.

Oh man. I'm a 1-razor guy for the most part,
but I'd go back on that in a second for a 7-day
set like that

Thanked: 1587Yeah... look, I hate to tell you this but that set is worthless. Probably made in 2008 in Pakistan.
But, you know, I will buy it off you for a nominal fee if you like.
