    Eskiltunia is to Sweden what Solingen is to Germany or Sheffield is to England. They made fine blades.

    I can't speak scientifically about these razors, but I can tell you that I have quite a few Helje's now, and they are among my best shavers.

    They take an edge very quickly when sharpening, and keep an edge for a long time. The 5/8 MK31 feels small and light, but shaves effortlessly. The MK32 is perfect, in every way. Their thumb notches and jimps make them very maneuverable.

    The scales are all understated, and most are either ivory or tortoise. They hold their shape over time too.
