    I got this razor for my anniversary and I am in the process of cleaning and honing it I am looking foward to the first shave

    Very cool razor.Blade looks to be in real nice shape,and I really like the scales.Of course,you can tell by my avatar,I'm a horse person.Nice score,and if you ever get sick of it...............

    Nice razor. Decorated scales are a field of collecting in themselves. Good luck with the honing. If it is to be your first shave here is a post by SRP founder Lynn Abrams that helped me ease into it when I first got started.
    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

    Second, Jimmy man why???

    Another AD; DSAD, Decorated Scale AD.

    As if we don't have enough to deal with.

    My therapy bills are already to high.

    Not my recommendation, I was just stating the fact. Personally I have never went for the decorated scales. Matter of fact if at all possible I prefer original scales even if they are plain old celluloid or plastic. There is a percentage of collectors though that will pay big bucks for the scales even with a blade that is shot. I don't think that many of them are straight razor shavers though.

    I got a shaving edge on the razor and it is a great shave I am happy i got for sure I is a looker and a worker
