    Get some red acrylic. Soak the Solingen off with some acetone (nail polish remover), make new scales out of the red acrylic, stick the Solingen on the new scales, re-pin, and enjoy.

    Or send it to me, and I'll do it.

    I agree with the light colored scales.

    Wow, love the Tamarind, probably more than the razor is worth to me, but I'll check it out.

    You said creative, right?

    I think Butch (LHarner) will sell some of his Micarta. I am planning on sending 2 razors out for restore with scales made of each of these Micartas
    .

    I was going to say either some micarta, carbon fiber, or some acyrlic. I am also very impartial to the different shell scales whether it be abalone, paua or mop...its a tough choice though.
