Thread: "Dr. Balfanz" Solingen

Does anyone know anything about this name? I saw one online and the blade looks interesting...a bismarck style shoulderless blade. Worth $50?

I had one that I bought off of Yahoo auctions and it is, in my estimation, the same blade as the DOVO Rennaisance but for the Japanese market.

It is an INOX stainless and has a shorter cutting edge that a normal striaght. It was nice but not my cup of tea so I sold it.

If it is in good shape it is definately worth 5000円.
