Thanked: 1587There must be some conspiracy afoot. I never knew that Genco and Geneva were one and the same. We do not see many of those Down Under, or at least I have not. They are not as common as Sheffield is. Best book ever, that one Mark. Thanks!

Thanked: 1195Thanks for the info! I have a Genco Gold Seal that I recently acquired from my grandma and it was her fathers'. I never met him as he died before I was born, but it's in great (but not shave ready) condition with only a bit of tarnish on the blade. No rust, pitting or hone wear. I've been meaning to send it to Lynn for a proper honing...... I'll get around to it sometime. At least I have a relative age for it now.

I wonder where the Geneva Cutlery with the triange stamp fits in? I don't see it on that list of trademarks.
Are they made earlier than the Gencos? The stamp looks more modern to me.
