Thread: Identification?

This arrived today, pretty little thing, blade is 11/16. Got a good feel to it, I think it will clean up quite nicely. It came in a box for Butlers 'keen' razor, but has no markings on the blade at all.

On the second picture, is it me or is there a shadow of an etch or some other marking?

I would say that the blade appears to be English, but beyond that, I really have no idea at all. It might be a Butlers, but it might have just wound up in a Butler's coffin somehow (there are a lot of mismatched blades/coffins out there).
