Default Rümelin - rare, unusual. Who made it?

I was lucky to get really unusual razor for my collection. After digging the whole internet no info were found. Have anyone seen or own something like that before? It’s really light, gorgeous looking razor with only 2 signs Rümelin and 81. Other side is blank.

I can't offer you any info, except to say it is beautiful. How well does it shave?

It's not a shave ready yet...I will send it for honing most likely this week. But I do believe it will be a great shaver

Who knows who actually made it but it looks like many Swedish brand razors- I've seen them made by E.A. Berg and maybe Heljestrand or Engström at least in this style.

It looks like a Swedish style razor to me, too, Philadelph.

A long shoulder frameback. What a handsome blade! Count yourself lucky. I hope its performance matches its good looks.

This looks like a concave grind, a true FrameBack is in two pieces I.E the blade and the frame of the blade, making the frame the back of the blade which is where they got there name from I believe Hence FrameBack they can have a fixed blade or a removable blade have seen Framebacks with one frame and seven blades as a seven day set. see http://straightrazorpalace.com/razor...-fanciers.html
But this is a beautiful thing to behold wish I could help with info they used to make razors like this with a concave grind in Sheffield which were called Rattlers for some reason but this does look more like a Swedish blade more of an Engstrom or Heljestrand than an English Rattler
