well I am trying to rescue some - especially those with cosmetic problems (just a few) or those with slightly uneven edges - nothing wrong per se but a buyer might think they were 'warped' when in fact it's just a very old grinding machine wheezing out heaven knows how many blades and it has had the odd 'hiccup' now and then. Then there are the ones that are truly bad - warpage, cracked blades, chipped etc etc - might save 'em for a few years, cast them in resin and sell them as paperweights.............

one of the wapienica ( maybe 10% on both sides) was covered with some crazy black stuff in the form of thin Spaghetti or the fluffy stuff they sell in Kids-R-Us.
Razor was wrapped in oiled/waxed paper and straight from original factory plastic box.
After saturating that "asphalt" for 15 minutes I was able to remove completely with scotch pad and dremel tool.
whatever it was, that chemical have eaten away some metal and created shallow pits.
