I have many words for us "subjects", civilized is a very charitable one.
I'm off to bed, so the answer is ............... Artamis.

Have a look on the net, best price I have seen them for is about £16

    I thank you.

I forgot to say , the reason I found out is I went to A E Lloyds, the tobacconists in Cardiff to buy some snuff. I knew they had razors, so I had a close look. I could just make out the little chinese symbols inside the scales and the scales were the same type with the spacer being moulded from each half of the scales, just like my double arrow. Add to that the same blade shape and metal, Ooh! and the pins are the same.

    So there !

£16 isn't bad at all for a honable razor, the scales didn't seem as haphazzard as the ones on mine (from stamps222 via ebay)
I paid about £10 from him.

I don't tend to pay that much, but you're not wrong, might be a fun experiment to have a new razor.
