Robeson blades are really nice America Steele and make great shavers JoeD and I have several of them. Some of the earliest Robeson's were actually blades made by NBoker, but in the early 1900's due to the high tax on cutlery imported from Europe they started making there own blades. The manufacturing plant was based in Perry NY and the main distrubution point was on Front Street in Rochester NY. Ok, they were a local manufacture for me and peaked my interest so I did quite a bit of research on them. They are a bit under valued in my opinion but great blades. Post some pics when you get a chance. There is a Robeson razor club in the razor forums you might want to check out.

As CarrieM stated, the early Robesons were made by Boker. Robesons stamped with the name as you noted above were one of the first sold so there is a good chance the one you have was made by Boker. Look for a little tree stamped on the end of the tang and let us know if you find a tree stamped on the side.

Thanked: 13245Actually it is more SRP etiquette, than a written rule but yes we do frown on actual discussions of pricing in the open forum... other than in the auction forum and even there it is more of what things already sold for on the auction sites....
Prices and value tend to be more subjective things, so it is always been a "rule" to avoid pricing in the open forum...
