    Default anyone ever herd of this brand

    I picked this one up the other day for 3 dollers
    I can not find any information on this ST8
    Its a
    Microscopic Section Cutter
    made in germany . 6/8 wedge
    Its weird becuse one side has a shoulder and'
    the other side does not
    any info would be great

    It is used for preparing specimens for microscope slides. They pop up from time to time.

    As the name suggests… is used to cut extremely thin slices of biological material for examination under the microscope. One side is ground flat so it will cut the slice evenly.
    From what I herd, if honed properly (like a Japanese razor) will make an exceptional shaver, however some will caution… be sure to sterilize properly before putting on your face… you never know what it’s been cutting in the past.

    I thought that to myself when I was tring to research it
    because I could'nt find anything on this.

    Ps .... I do not plan to shave with this..LOL
