Problem is if you buy a new razor, it wont 'really' be shave ready when you get it. You will still need to send it to a honemister to get it up to scratch.
(They just give it a quicky in the factory)
Mabey get an old boker from one of the SRP locals that will come to you shave ready.
And if you get some paste you might be able to touch up the razor you have. Joshearl has a great thred as to how to apply past to a strop.

My razor works pretty well. I'm just looking for an excuse to buy a new one. I have never had my razor professionally honed, but I manage to scrape the hair off my face with it anyway.
