Sell the Duck. You'll get humungous amounts of money, and get rid of a 4/8 in one go. Excellent deal.

Selling anything you can call NOS and anything dubl duck (on US ebay at least) should help you pay for new razors

Sell the ones you won't be sad to see go, or the ones that would be easy to replace should the mood take you.

Personally, I would keep the spanish one because you don't see them all that often. I would probably sell the Dubl Duck if I wasn't so keen on 4/8s, and I would probably sell the Dovo because they're everywhere and also the frame back if I had something similar I prefered.

Option number two, is to buy a few razors for very little and sell them for a fair price, make some cash and buy new stuff.

One unintended side effect of this discussion is that some folks have PM'd me regarding particular razors. I intended that to happen in the classifieds. I don't sell on eBay. Just like there are ignorant sellers, there are crazy buyers. Who needs the aggravation?

It looks like I will be selling the frameback (after a farewell shave). I have 2 more framebacks and just bought an "Au Sentier" from the bay. (I have no self control).

The Duck just doesn't suit me (maybe I can't get it right because it is a 4/8 spike - maybe its my honing). I haven't liked many blades below 5/8. I may be discovering a dislike for square/spike points. Maybe it's my technique, but they feel harsh to me.

I am going to give the Gold Bug another try. It seems to hold some promise.

I thought I would sell the Dovo, because it would be a great newbie blade. It has some water spots but I guess it was NOS as I was the first to hone it.

The Iberia stays, for now. It came to me as NOS and I do like how it shaves.

Pyment - is that Bismarck a good shave? I have a new one, (well, NOS I guess) laying around and after a few weeks of frantic RAD haven't had a chance to get at it because of the other ones coming in. How does it compare to other blades? It's an untouched blade but thas a bent pin so I have to rescale it (or replace the pin) before I'll get it ready and try it out. If it's simply average I'll rescale it and offer it up to someone.

Get them all as sharp as you can at the same time. Start using them in the same order all the time and see which one needs a touch up first: sell that one etc.

Another point to consider: many straight shavers develop a taste for larger sizes in the long run. So you may want to part with the smaller ones.
