Default Querelle A Paris blade pics

    Hi guys,
I've been lurking her for a while now. I'd like to extend my thanks to everyone that makes this place what it is. I probably would have given up on straights if it wasn't for all the info available here.

Anywhoo-I've done a brief google search and haven't run into any info on this razor. I'm going to polish it up and find some suitable scales when i get around to it.

I finally snapped some pics to see if any one at SRP had seen this one around and could provide some background.

    Thanks Guys

Beautiful razor, and looks like it could be a great shaver. Absolutely stumped on the name, though I used several references. My guess is that the Querelle name is the merchant seller's, not the manufacturer, and it looks to have been made from the mid to late 1800's. Too bad about the scales, but old ivory is prone to cracking.

"Querelle A Paris" - I think, it is not the manufacturer, it is the seller. The trading house, shop in Paris.
I had the similar razor "Leclercq A Boulogne". Leclercq is very old and known shop in French city Boulogne-sur-Mer. And the razor has been made by French company Pradel. The company exists since 1812.
