Thanked: 234interesting that it's more like a straight edge grip than a DE grip.
If it works for someone, all power to them. If I was a cartridge guy still, this would attract me for being different.

I htink that it's a really good innovation. There are plenty of people out there who find shaving to be a chore and can't get good results from it. While I don't think it compares to developing skill with a straight, its a great idea for those who don't feel comfortable with anything "more dangerous" than a cartridge. The convex blades are also a very good idea. The way I see it is that you would be able to have only one blade in contact with your skin at a time, which would help eliminate irritation and ingrown hairs. however, I'm stll not sure how there are so many different types of blades.
That being said, its nice to see people creating innovations that actually may improve the shaving experience for many people.

A review of it was done over on another board last year. I wouldn't personally put much stock in a lot of what the person might say. But I think he might be in line with my thoughts on this one.

Thanked: 90Jeebus, how complicated is shaving that this makes it simpler? Seriously, riding a bike is complicated at first, but people manage to do it. Shaving isn't that difficult that we need another style of disposable.

I personal don't see a whole lot of innovation there.
They took two disposables, stuck them together and put a ring hole in the handle more or less...

Thanked: 124I think the mainstream firms should embrace the str8 razor revival. Sure, if you use a disposable they can sell you cartridges, but if you use a str8, they can sell you...well, you gents already know all the stuff they can sell you
