Is 1000/4000 norstrom stones enough?
Hey SRP Community,
I have an Art of Shaving new razor and was wondering if I could get it "shave ready" with the 1000/4000 stones only.

I wouldn't shave off of a 4000. You are not going to enjoy it. You'd do better with a 4000/8000 (and a 1000 for bevel setting)

after you get it honed by someone who knows what they are doing, I would suggest getting a paddle strop and pasting it...you can use that to refresh your edge when needed and allow yourself to keep a sharp edge longer before having to hone again
check the wiki though, b/c there are tons of options
