    Question What's the difference?

I found these 2 wade and Butcher Razors (Also a few others in my photo album) which are real close in design. One thing though, one says Manufactured by Wade and Butcher Sheffield the other says only Wade and Butcher For Barbers use. The first one is also stamped with "The Celebrated Hollow Ground Razor For Barbers use followed by a sideways circle B, an arrow, and a cross. Can someone tell me the difference between the two?

Probably the same product intended for different distribution channels - to professional and private buyers. The pro item wouldn't need etching or fancy packaging. One *might* have come from the factory better sharpened, but that's pure speculation on my part.

Any ideas on where to go to find out about these razors?

Check out the razor club, the Butcher Shop. If I remember correctly there is a couple of postings on the stamps that help date the razors.
