I too am actively looking for a Spanish American War Clauss USMC razor. I have the WWI razor and it IS an excellent shave. I guess I'll have to start watching the estate sales.

I have seen a picture in Time. It was a Marine with his issue displayed on a poncho with the cost of each item. Low and behold there was a straight razor there with the cost in a caption. So I would believe an Asiatic Marine wouldve had 1 definitely and at the beginning of the war the Marine Corps was lucky it could field 1 or 2 Divisions because of the cutbacks of the Great Depression made the whole US military small and ranking with many small countries in Europe. So at the beginning of WW2 the USMC issued straights
