I believe a razor such as this was discussed previously on SRP. I'm not sure and don't hold me to this, but one of the most interesting comments I've ever read was posted in regards to this razor, to the tune of "it doesn't shave well on the upper lip".
You might do a search and see if there is any info out here on SRP.

Thanked: 488If the price is pretty cheap at the antique store I'd buy it then check values. It may be worth a good deal to WWII collectors.

my 'desireability nil' comment was meant to reflect a widely-held view that Adolf and his 1939 world tour is perhaps best not admired by perpetuating the desireability and worth of relics of that particular regime.
It is of course desirable and valuable - it just shouldn't be.

Thanked: 402Well in germany its downright forbidden to show, wear, possess or publish anything Nazi-related.
Even if it were not, I wouldn't say that the ugly face of this weako makes a razor any better and to evoke memories on the side of his ~five million victims is downright tasteless.

Respectfully I'd suggest following the Buddhist concept in your sig line Spanx. It may provide the appropriate answer. I wouldn't buy it but everyone has their own view of things. Me personally, I'd be a little concerned that the blade might sense the Russian blood in me and go for a gallon of it. Sort of like that story about the Kamikaze pilot's blade someone has in their sig line here. :-)

Thanked: 1903That is not correct: Strafgesetzbuch § 86a - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Also §86a StGB has led to some interesting historic confusion.

Ladies and Gentlemen. It is not first time that I see how themes start to roll down to a policy and to discussion of historical events.
It is a forum about straight razors and things connected with them. If on the razor there is Hitler, Stalin or other "kind" uncles it is does not mean that the person sympathize them. I have a cigarette case of the German officer with a swastika, and I live in Israel! So?
Do I sympathize Nazis? It simply part of history. Which, by the way, needs to be known.
And so, let's discuss razors, instead of those, who on them is represented.Alex Ts.

Thanked: 0I agree the purpose is to discuss razors - I would be interested in it simply because it might be a part of history. But some history is just ugly.
