SR Droescher and Kloshave
I picked these 2 up on EBay to practice cleaning and honing on, does anyone know anything about them? The strange thing is that they look like the same blade, they both say made in Germany so maybe they where made by the same comany in Germany and bought by two different sellers in the USA?

Nice razor !!!
The SRD's are very good shavers haven't ever used a #79 but every other one I have seen slices nice...
I agree those do look very similar and very well might have been produced at the same plant and just stamped differently....

"S.R. Droescher" existed 1891-1924. This importer was at 77-79 Warren St., New York City. Severin R.Droescher was the owner. Very good shaver.
About "Kloshave" nothing yet.Alex Ts.

Nice. I don't know about the Klos Shave either but my impression is that anything with S.R. Droescher's name is a quality item whether it be a razor, a strop or a hone. At least it has seemed that way from anything I have gotten. Another great barber supplier of quality items was Koken. Most noted for the best barber chair but I've also seen some razors with that marque and one of the finest strops I've got is an old horsehide Koken.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
