I would agree on later "Silver Steels" which were alloyed with Chromium, but in the 1820s Michael Faraday formulated a Silver Steel that had about .02% Silver alloyed in it. It was the rage when it came out. I would argue that it was in many razors from that period. Even today, Dovo advertizes their Silver Steel as actually having silver in it not the later alloy called "Silver Steel" that was used for tools that did not.
