Thread: How many straight razors do you have?

Only two.

My lowly VA state employee income doesn't allow much (any) disposable income, but I have two great shavers, a Norton 4000/8000, a great strop set (felt and leather) - a couple of nice brushes, my Dad's and a new boar... and a coffee cup to whip up that William's lather... lol!

I consider myself lucky and it just proves that even the the poor can enjoy a good shave.

For now I have for straight razors and one Iwasaki Kamisori

35 pampered and nitpicked shavers, 5 or so in a pile. I use them in groups like old, new, etc.
My least favorite group is the Wayhayexpensivefancypantsheap. Those four cost more than all
the others combined, and aren't much better than most restored Ebays.

Actually, I look a them like pieces of jewelry, individual, unique, and... "Paid fer!"

After 43 years of collecting, I have about 150 razors, 90% of which are quite useable.

I currently have 6 but will stop at 7.
