    Default Help reading this word

I can't make it out. The blade has etching that says: Fur den Starksten Bart. Which I roughly translated to: "For the strongest beard" using babelfish.

    I was thinking it says

"Fningberg" Could be short for Fanningberg, Austria?

or "Faningberg" these are my best guesses...

    After five years of German....

    1) It's in German Script. It's very hard to read. (Sütterlin - Alphabet im Vergleich zu Kanzleischriften des 17. - 19. Jahrhunderts)

    And...

    2)I agree with Olivia.

Oops... :-/. Um. Well.... Sorry. 5 years of school German isn't the same amount of learning as spending a year living in Germany. I'm planning a stay over there in the near future.

    Hang on....
Lots of straight razors are considered antiques though :-p! J/K.

"Zwingberg" is simply a German derivitive of:
YouTube - Garth from Wayne's World

    Or something like that...

Leighton, that razor is all you!!!

Zwingberg seems correct, my only qualm is that the two "lumps" of the W are inconsistent.
