Flea Market Finds
Was out today looking for shaving accoutrements and happened upon 2 razors. I got them both for $40. I've been reading up on the resto threads and once I know enough I'll start bringing them back to life.
The first was a Torrey which I've heard good things about and the other was a Thistle Cut, which I can't find anything on. Anyone heard of Thistle?
Before restoration.(Or at least a good cleanup.)

Nice grabs. Both are known for putting out great shavers. Hopefully they'll clean up nicely, but even if not, they should both be great razors.

+1 Both are american steel. I have both and they do give a exception shave once honed properly.

Interesting... the Thistle Cut I saw was stamped NY not Ohio...
Great finds though! Very jealous on the Thistle Cut!
