Did you know that.....
Did you know that if the scales has two "x" marks scratched in the handles, symbolic that at some time this razor was used as a weapon--to cut flesh!!!!!!

At least according to this ebay seller. I have no clue if this is true or where the seller has got that information. Somebody wants to shead some light over this matter??
Anyways, the razor seems to me a bit expensive for it's condition, But perhaps this Primble brand is highly collectible..??
To me, this seems more as a try to ripoff some poor guy, but that's just my opinion.
Edit: Sorry pasted wrong link, should work now...Last edited by cako72; 07-23-2009 at 01:38 PM.

My assumption is that the seller's assumption is that someone would want to buy an otherwise worthless razor for an overpriced amount if he lies about the collectibility and the damage on the scales.

Whenever I slash someone with my straight razor I always carve an x into the scales. Kidding aside, the seller has a vivid imagination and is obviously extremely proud of his razor based on the price he is asking for it.
John Primble India Steel Works was a brand sometimes used by Belknap/Blue Grass of Kentucky. Their pocket knives were highly regarded and are collectible. I suppose their razors might be as well but that wouldn't bring anything like what the fellow is asking for it if the buyer had a clue.Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Yeah, that's right.....I think it also means that it was used by Pirates........really mean ones. In fact, that may be the famous "Lost Razor of Blackbeard", the loss of which caused him to grow his black beard.
Or maybe not.

Hmm, like cutting notches in a gun eh?

I think its a Roman Numeral. Your supposed to have that many additional razors in the rotation with that one. This razor requires 9 more.
Don't buy a razor with an M on it.
