    Default Different sized FWE Leaders?

So I have two FWE Leaders, one mint, one not so mint. Both are great shavers. The not-so-mint one is only not mint cus of the hone wear. Scales look almost brand new, still blued on the tang except the little triangle where the hone brushes it, pins are original and tight, just has some hone wear. Right off the bat I knew one was 5/8s and one 6/8s just cus you can see the difference when you shave I guess. And I have written it off for 2 or 3 weeks now as "hone wear". I always thought it was wierd, cus the hone wear on the spine is only minor, not nearly enough to have shortened the blade 1/8th. Yesterday though I was putting a few of my shavers over the Swaty, and when it came time to do the 5/8s Leader that I didn't really need the X stroke as much as I thought I did on the other one and I was like hmmm.... so I got my 6/8 mint one out and looked at them and sure enough, the smaller one is smaller in every way! The width of the scales is about 3/32 (just under 1/8) different, the pin to pin length is about 1/4 different, the cutting part of the blade is about 3/16th different, and the width of the blade is obviously 1/8th different. So assuming that it was a 5/8s blade to begin life, it only has very minor edge-recession, and definately matches the minor hone wear. However, every thing is in proportion. Not like a Dwarf or Gnome where its tiny, but just a little smaller in every way (maybe to preserve the visual golden-ration aesthetic thin).

Anyway. Still shaves well and looks good. Just thought it was interesting that the Leader apparently came out in two sizes. Also I was wondering if, say, the DD Goldedge 5/8s round point would be similarly smaller scales, slightly shorter blade etc, than a DD Goldedge 6/8s spike point....
