Default new to me wade and butcher

    Hi folks,

I picked up a razor at an antique store this weekend past. Actually, I got two, but the other one was for a friend.

My razor is a W&B near wedge (as far as I understand) as there is a slight radius from spine to edge.
It has the W&B name on the tang and a logo that has an english cross and an arrow.
The blade has "free and easy" etched on it and the scales have a gold inlay that says "bon et utile." which is a french translation of the blade etching. the scale material is celluloid I think.

Can anyone tell me about this razor? I will post pictures as soon as I can.

I think you can find many interesting things about your razor here and here.

If it is in good shape once honed to shave ready you will have a super shaver.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
