    Default Old Razor

    To anyone,

I recently obtaind an old straight razor. It is engraved with " The Celebrated Faugh - A - Ballagh Razor on the blade. The name John Atkyn is on the hilt. There is unreadable text below his name. I think it may be where it was made. If anyone can help as to the origin of this blad it would be greatly appreciated. Is there anyone who may know of another forum dedicated to old razors or antique razors? Thank you is advance for any assistance.

    Regards,

    Seamus

    Default Faugh A Ballagh

    Thank you for the suggestion,

Dead batteris in the digital camera. I will include a picture soon.

I am assuming the Micarta handle dates the razor to 1910 or there after.
    Once again Thank you.

    Regards,

    Seamus
