    Default Worth $24?

    Hello,
I am hoping you who are so wise in knowledge of straight razors can let me know if this was worth the $24 I dropped in an antique shop. Overall it looks to be in good condition and quickly removed the hair on my forearm. On one side of the tang there is an imprint of and says "kangaroo" and on the other side it says "Made in Germany / for F.Westpfal / New York" Sorry for the low quality photos, I could not figure out how to zoom in on the tang so it would be clear. Any information you might be able to provide would be appreciated as RAD kicks in full speed. Thanks for your time.

The bad news is I couldn't find it in the razor database. The good news is it isn't in the razors to avoid list. Looks to me like it should be a keeper though. You won't know until you get it sharpened and give it a try. Great find.

Looks like a nearly new razor to me. It should be a great shaver when honed.
