C-Mon was originally a brand from Carl Monkhouse - Ellicottville, N.Y. After Carl Monkhouse stopped making them in Ellicottville in 1955 C-MONs continued to be marketed Peter J. Michaels. Peter J. Michaels is still in business in Bolivar, NY. They have C-MON "Blackie" and Cadillac" razors made under contract periodically (Dovo) for hair dressers. They are still available. Right now the Cadillac model is available but yours is probably not that old unless it says Ellicottville, NY on it.
