It certainly does. Hold on a sec. I'll find my longest razor. I think its my Fontenille. She's at least 3 inches. Unfortunately My laptop webcam is not the easiest thing to take a picture of a ruler and a razor lined up nicely with. The McQueen in the other thread is about 3.1ish inches though.

Almost 3.5 to the tang, nearly 6.5 to the end of the monkey tail in a 8/8.

Sorry cannon, that's a 3" cutting edge. My Wm Greaves & Sons is just over 3" too, Sham. I don't have any problem with it because it's a smiler. I'm beginning to think a 5" blade would be just fine as long as it has a nice smile on it.

Epoxy resin finished figured black walnut. That blade has a longer than usual tang. You have to make extra long scales to fit it, but yes, the cutting edge is only 3 inch.

    Default razor looking the same

    Hi Bud Gl,

I was very surprise seeing your razor picture. I am from Belgium and I have exactly the same razor coming from either my grand father or great grand father. Mine has been made by JB Lemiere in Brussels but the blade is exactly the same.

On your I can see HUY. Huy is a town in Belgium so I believe your razor comes from Belgium too. Do you know anything about it ? When it was built ... ? I had mine restored by RupRazor. Just interested about any information you might have on the razor. Thanks
