H.J.Heskovitz - Sheffield
I just got this razor. It looks like it needs a little work but the edge looks good.
Does anyone know anything about the history or opinions of this razor?

I've never heard of the brand, But Sheffield blades tend to be good shavers.

I had one just like that (did you get her from me?). The was a very nice shaver and felt great in the hand. I know JoeD also has one, though his is in better shape than mine was. I bet he'll share his thought, if he's had a chance to shave with his yet.

Thanks Holli. The Herskovitz made it into my rotation a while ago. It is a very good shaver and comfortable to use. Here is a pic of mine:
