Default Difference between Wapi and Wapi2

I saw a "Wapi 2" on ebay. What is the difference between these two Wapis?

The original Wapi had metal (stainless I think) scales, a French (oblique) point, and was about a quarter hollow grind. The newer Wapi comes in plastic scales, has a round point, and is a full hollow grind.

It's hard to tell from the pictures, assuming the sellers are honest. There goes the price of the originals!

This is the link to an ebay sale of a Wapi 2. The seller claims it's all stainless steel and the picture looks like a razor with a French point and ? stainless scales.

    Caveat emptor.

That is an original Wapi. The scales may well be stainless, but it's a carbon steel (non-stainless) blade.

This is a good answer - I was just being a smart ass.
