Thanked: 0Difference between Wapi and Wapi2
I saw a "Wapi 2" on ebay. What is the difference between these two Wapis?

The original Wapi had metal (stainless I think) scales, a French (oblique) point, and was about a quarter hollow grind. The newer Wapi comes in plastic scales, has a round point, and is a full hollow grind.

Thanked: 0It's hard to tell from the pictures, assuming the sellers are honest. There goes the price of the originals!

Thanked: 0This is the link to an ebay sale of a Wapi 2. The seller claims it's all stainless steel and the picture looks like a razor with a French point and ? stainless scales.

That is an original Wapi. The scales may well be stainless, but it's a carbon steel (non-stainless) blade.
