There are a bunch of shave ready straights in our classifieds. I'd suggest taking a look around and PMing anyone offering up something you like.

Boker's are good razors, but there are MANY great razors out there, and I wouldn't automatically suggest one over another.

I would suggest you forget about starting with a particular brand, and get the nicest razor your budget will allow from the classifieds. You'll get a razor that is shave ready, and pay a fair price for it.

There are a lot of good razors out there.
    Take a look at
Good Straight Razor Brands - Straight Razor Place Wiki
your best bet would be to find a shave ready 5/8 or 6/8 in the classified.

BTW the Wiki has lots and lots of good info....

    Good luck.

Zeepek...it's a classic and cheap, hear they go for like 7 bucks on the bay....30 or 40 days of honing and you should have yourself a ra......well something akin to a paper weight.

    Cheers
