Default Cattaraugus Our Best, not bad for $6 !

Yesterday I accidentally got this beauty for $6! Still can’t believe it. Cattaraugus Our Best Little Valey, NY. I believe this is late 1800’ most likely 1886-1895, minor pitting but great shape. I will send it for restoration immediately. Sorry for the pictures, this is classical example how NOT to use Photoshop..

That is going to be one nice looking and shaving razor! I like the heavy spine and blade profile; should mow down the heaviest beard. Great catch!

I bet once restored, that razor is going to look and shave great. I have two Cattaraugus straights which are some of my finest shavers.

The razors from Little Valley ,New York are all famous shavers. Once it's back from being restore it will look great, especially with that blade, but just just think of the great shaves morning after morning. Darn, now I'm droolin on my desk.

I recently sold a Cattaraugus cutlery "Seaver". Great little shaver.

    Why do you think so?
What exactly is written on the blade: Little Valey or Prussia?

    Cattaraugus Cutlery Co. Prussia - 1886 - 1890.
    Cattaraugus Cutlery Co. Little Valey N.Y. - 1886 - 1963+
Therefore, it is difficult to assert that the razor was made 1886-1895.
